I am late to watching the video since it's been out for a bit now, but I finally just watched it. Of course I think the video is pretty cheesy but my favorite part about all of the gymkhana videos is that there is no music playing during the majority of the driving parts. I really can't stand YouTube videos that have some sort of cool scene but gets totally ruined with dubstep. Even if music I particularly enjoyed was playing, I would still prefer the engine sounds and tire squealing any day! Haha anyways, I'm looking for more quality "car porn" on YouTube without the damn dubstep, so post the links! Here is one of my favorites:

Exactly right. Car chases in movies are often better and more suspenseful without music as well.
I think the problem people making youtube videos face is that it's hard to record loud sounds well and it's easy to overlay some music. Of course there's no explaining some of the music choices they make.
